This video shows how we replaced an old obsolete lock made by Yale. The customer was complaining that when she locked the door you could just push the handles down and the door would open. Two locksmiths had previously told her no parts were available and she needed a new door. They were right that no parts were available but you can retro fit new systems. Liberty Locksmiths supplied and fitted a Yale professional which is stamped “SBD” which means secured by design which is police and insurance approved. The door is now more secure. The price was a fraction of the cost she was quoted for a new door. We can source, supply and retro fit multi-point locks to doors where parts are now unavailable.
